Jacob's Day

Ready or not, Jacob turned one year old this week, Thursday to be exact. When Benjamin turned one we took him to Toys 'R Us in Winston and picked out a toy. We wanted to do the same for Jacob.

Saturday, the outing started out with lunch, just the three of us.

Then we went to Toy 'R Us. There they recognized him as the birthday boy with a crown, balloon, and announced his name over the intercom.

We picked out a riding toy that can also be pushed. It looks like a lion and plays music. Jacob couldn't take his eyes off of it in the store. I think we made the right choice.

We made a nice memory this weekend, for sure!
