Cure for Cabin Fever

The house was clean, I was afraid the kids would tear it up, so what do I do, I bundle up the kids and we spend the spend the morning at Fisher River Park. Yes, there was still snow standing everywhere. No, it was not too cold. They were bundled up, especially Jacob.

I have been heart-broken that Jacob will soon be 9 months old and had never been on a swing. Before Jacob came along, we use to take  Ben to the playground all the time. They have been to the playground several times at church, but there is no swing for Jacob.

Today...Jacob got to swing until his (and my) heart were content.  According to the look on his face, he loved it!

Ben also got to do a lot of his favorite thing... "liiiide"! Better known as slide. Every time he would shout "weee" as he went down, then clap "yay" and shout "g-job". Giving himself a pat on the back he get more excited each time we went, which was dozens of times.

After weeks of cold temperatures and snow, it was great to break out of the house for some exercise, instead of spinning circles in the house or garage like we have been doing. Our family had a great day together!

Of course when we got home...they began to tear the house up! Atleast we have the memories!
