Peanut, Peanut Butter...No Jelly

Do you know that tune? Of course, the song is about Peanut Butter AND jelly. Luckily, in my case there was only peanut butter.  Peanut butter alone was bad enough.

Tired of reading my toddler induced household disaster stories? If so, read no further, you won't like this one.

Here is the short version: Peanut butter smeared all over white carpet!

Here is the long version: Ben took peanut butter, ran to Brian where I assumed he would intercept the jar. When Brian shouted "Ben is with me" I didn't worry anymore. I later walk in to discover that Ben has spread peanut butter all over the white carpet in our bedroom. Brian just thought he was watching TV in the floor not noticing the mess he was making. (Don't misunderstand that. I am not fussing int eh least about Brian. Just telling the story.)

Good thing I recently bought my Bissell Little Green Machine Steam Cleaner. It got a lot of use today. Surprisingly, the peanut butter was much tougher to get up than the pancake syrup a couple weeks ago.
Everyone must think that we don't watch him carefully.  We watch him like a hawk! And we are both home with him right now. How bad is it going to be when Brian finds a job. It is amazing the things he can do in the blink of an eye. Just like he threw all of my make-up and hair curlers in our recently unclogged toilet last week. Good thing we didn't need a plumber for that one. It just ruined all of my stuff. I can live easily without the stuff. I can't however easily live knowing that ... things just keep happening. I wish I understood why he is so strongwilled and fearless. I was never like that. I am not blameless, but I can not connect either.  Sigh...
