Comfort Zone

How do you feel about being in your comfort zone? I for one thrive off of it. It is the safest place to be. Safe, yes, but is being in my comfort zone the most productive place to be? As a teacher, I felt I was in my comfort zone and I also felt productive. When I am at home with my hair up in a pony tail doing housework I am in my comfort zone and productive. Is that all the work I have to do? Earn a living and support your family, you betcha that is important. Keep a clean house and cook healthy meals, also important. What about God's work? Yes, I can do that while working at home or jobs and especially when raising my boys. Why stop there? Is that enough? Have I done all that God has asked me to do? Have I lived up to His expectation of me? Maybe I should step out of my so beloved comfort zone. I have from time to time, but not enough.

Did Jesus live in his comfort zone? Was he productive? Was he in his comfort zone hanging on the cross? Why should I be so comfortable after he did that for me?
