First Offer

We got our 1st offer on the house today. I expected to be overjoyed when this day came, but instead it has caused many discussions and a lot of tension. We are not looking to make a profit. We jsut want to cover our loan and expenses, and if there is anything left, yipee! We think this couple might be trying to take us for a ride though. We shouldn't sell our house so low that we will still need to take out a loan to cover the rest of our mortgage and expenses. We are going to leet it rest for the weekend, and see how things evolve Monday morning. We currently have frozen pipes and may need to replace our heating unit. Going to have to resolve those issues before we can make a logical decisions. Knowing there is another couple interested makes me want to wait it out a couple days and see what they have in mind. The people who offered are not expecting an answer from us until Monday. At the very least, we will probably counter offer. Right now I don't feel good about that either though. I will definately let you know how this one transpires.
